hey guys, been not so posting lately lol..

Btw, my new car came in last month so was busy admiring it while driving my dad's car to sch. The car is WHITE!!

Take a look at this site! http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=5196297&l=a904c&id=864165322

However, each time I am driving my dad's car, I am reminded about the color of my house back in pri and sec sch. I am so stuck with purple for now, but shall expect myself to drive the white car!

Anyway in manner, the topic of faithfulness comes into my life, where my leader questioned me. I was thinking of how the passion actually faded for the past year wore down by disappointments and events that failed through. It is time that I should unlock the chains of such burdens and take up the yoke of Christ which is light. To my realization, most of the successful plans are from God's anointing itself. You can be more creative than your nobody next door, and more initiative. But the success don't come to you, why? I keep asking myself this question, while I observe the people around me getting the success. The common thing that I see is the faithfulness and consistency in doing the right things. No matter what their situation is, how bad or good, they can just continue the same thing. What I mean is not a routine but a discipline. Some people are fit and well because of their discipline in exercising well. Being faithful in physical exercise has its fruits, what's more being faithful in the emotional realm, in the spiritual realm.

It's been 4 years alr. I decided. Faithfulness comes before appointment, anything else despite how bad the situation or how lousy the people related to you. Change myself before change the people ard me. 2009 is the time I should run hard and good.

blessings..

Life is a marathon where you will need to alternate your paces. when to go fast and when to go slowly and when to extend your stamina - involve factors that we need to learn in life. Sometimes, we went a bit too fast and we burned ourselves out. When we go slow, we dun feel like picking up again. But when we extend our stamina as we stride our legs outside the comfort zone, the pain is near and the gains are long. Fulfillment comes least when you expected. I had chosen to extend my stamina long and hard.

God is really blessing me in this month. Now around this time, the COE drops to $2 and I thought it would be nice to get a car soon. So I asked my dad if there is any hint of buying a new one. The feedback I got is positive. Nonetheless I still need to see if it is really coming to pass. Last week in the midst of Asia Conference 08,  my dad brought me along to test drive the car ( which I will reveal when the car arrives haha) and I drove not according to his expectations of safety. So I thought probably no chance already. Then I remembered the Transformers film last year. As this main actor told his professor this, " If you are Jesus, what would you do to help me?" So I prayed to God for a miracle to come, and it did! My grandmother is going to sponsor half of the car. So I am getting this car!

I prayed hard and long, I worked by practicing outside driving rented cars. I chose to extend my stamina and God blessing comes. This is the wonder of a marathoner. Run like the wind and you will feel the joy of the run.

Exam Period

Been studyingt lately and wondered whether the course I am taking will bring me to the next level? Getting a paper qualification is just a door to something greater. I can understand that the government is pushing for singaporeans to be all rounder and bilinguial so that the nation's resources is still treasured by MNCs.

So as I touched on the technoentreprenuer elective, I can also do the same creating a venture that will influence the market in the SEA region. Be it disruptive or revoluntionary, I want to be a light that God can use and the salt for the people to enjoy. 2 Days to Asia Conference, and it is time for Singapore to shine so brightly that Asia will be shaken.

Alamak of all the times, I got a major backache and my left leg is immobilised like a half paralysed. But don't worry I can still walk and take my exam :) I can be healed by the stripes Jesus had borne!

wow been one month since i last blogged >.<

this semester is really taking the hell of life out of me. core modules weighing me down with stupidity and electives draining me out. Need life and help haha..

So far, i can grasp the concepts well all i need is to apply them simply back to the equations despite how the question is going to ask. I can score in this exam through Christ who strengthens me!!

Crazy Week

Hello again.

One week has just passed and many things had happened throughout the week, except for tue and thurs which are my study days.

First start with Monday. Was watching anime before I sleep and fell asleep at 230am without me knowing. The miracle thing is I woke up at 7am exactly when the sun rose up and shined on my face. The next thing I thought I would be late in reaching Kranji, so I changed quickly and gulped down my coffee, rushing out of the house at 720am. The next thing I fell asleep on the train and reached Kranji at 805am. 805am!!! I am like all of a sudden the earliest of my NTU friends >.< when I thought I was late in the first place. So together with we went over to JB city square and have a shopping therapy and a makan session. Tell you that the makan session is more of enjoying the cakes and laughing at each other's jokes rather than a glutton's session.

Shopped like there's no end. My buddy and I went all over to look for 'breakthrough' clothes to change our image once for all. In the end, I only got my shoes and my buddy got presents and shoes. Sad isn't it for a pair of guys to buy this little?

Afterward, we went Neway - JB Kbox version. We sang till our throats ran dry, the ceiling shaking, the microphones got 'wet'. Haha it was a wonderful time man especially when we sang Lian Ai ING. Everyone just got HIGH~~. However, sad thing I can't join them for dinner and rushed back to SG to help out CHEC crash course.

Wed also another siao night. Went with a few of my NTU and NUS friends to go to Holland Village. I was driving so I parked the car at the multi-storey which is not cashcard gantried, and here I thought I would not be staying too long. In the end, it got too late and changed my car location again... so went to wala wala then jumped to harry's. Everything seemed alright and normal till the packet of fries caught fire!! We tried to blowing it out and it got bigger. Still water is the main help in this situation. The result --- FRIES got Hotter! Taste so much better mmmm... (dun try this at home - this event is an accident)

Friday is the KI siao night. Went with cell group to cathay to eat @ Ashtons. The food is fabulous. The steak tasted juicy and the meat is tender. I can't believe that I am eating this steak for $11 bucks only with 2 side dishes !! Followed after that, we went to watch MAMA MIA! It is such a nice show as they re-sung ABBA songs all over again. Man, I missed those songs when I listened to them as a toddler. We even sang after the movie. Teresa then dragged me and Jialiang over to Clarke Quay as we thought we were going to have fun. This fun turned out to be a Pit-Stop cafe playnight. Played till the shop closed with our hands full of bruises and we all agreed it is cheaper than minds and settlers.

Eventful week, but still need to study. I still got 1/3 left to study. GANBATTE!!

scam

Dear friends,

Bad news to those who are expecting a treat.. It turned to be a scam! All the calls and drama almost made me caught up in the action and this in turn make me realise that their acting is not as good as I thought.

One thing for sure, is that I did not transfer any funds out but I wasted money on overseas calls. Still alright because in exchange of all these I get to learn a good lesson. That is why boundaries are important to everyone of us. We need to have our individual self before we give this 'self' back to God. Each time we do this, we can grow all the more better in nature. As i read on chapter 3, God is really bringing me to another level. Strengthening the soul and spirit becomes a everyday nature to me. I really believe that God will bring queenstown secondary to a new level of being a student.

In fact, had a vision for queenstown. A few years down the road - queenstown with a cross, with students proclaiming Christ to the highest, yet engaging each other in arts, media and sciences. This is my plan - 6 months creating a new connect group of 5, 1.5 year creating a new youth cell group. Indeed, the new generation from CHC will set apart a new standard for all asia to see - impacting the next generation!

think I consumed a huge amount of caffeine on mon and tue.. Can't fall asleep in lectures for now while enduring the endless barrage of lecturers' monotonous voices.

Just yesterday, a call came in and told me about the lucky draw in China. Now you guys may wonder if it was a hoax and majority would think it is a hoax.. Let me tell you the brief history.

It was after morning prayer that i received the first call from them. Thinking that it would be a hoax (I'm just an undergraduate and I was invited to an event with stars from China and Hong Kong), I listened to the speaker as she promotes the event. I asked her what details did she need and found out to be just addresses and phone number confirmation. I just gave it eventually knowing that the lucky draw would not involve me at all. Of course I did not accept the invitation as I am still stuck in school.

Then this call came in before my lecture started. I was astonished as the same person told me that I won the THIRD prize of the lucky draw. Never ever in my life had I won any lucky draw!! With apprehension, I asked about any terms and conditions. There was NONE! Third prize - a car worth HK$500,000 (S$100,000 approx) !

At the moment I was stunned as she droned about how to receive the prize. Of course the car won't be coming over but I will be given a cheque instead. Indeed, God is faithful. I had been praying for a car two years ago and never stopped. This time, God gave me the finances to buy a car! Praise the Lord!
